History of Hobart Hurricanes

Hobart Hurricanes is amongst those teams in the BBL who are yet to win the title. They have finished as the runners-up twice (BBL 07 and BBL 03). The Hurricanes have been a decent team in the tournament but they’ve to go that extra yard it requires to win the title. With Ricky Ponting taking the helm, they will be hoping for a good season in BBL 12.

They have recruited three players from Pakistan - Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf and Asif Ali. Jimmy Neesham will be there as well. With players like Matthew Wade, D’Arcy Short, Ben McDermott and others, they are looking good as a team.
