History of Sydney Thunder

Sydney Thunder are the underachievers of the Big Bash League. They won the title in BBL 05 (2015-16) but since then they’ve failed to play at their full potential as a team. They qualified for the playoffs in the last 3 seasons but failed to reach the final even once. They will look to do well this season.

They have added the likes of Rilee Rossouw, and Fazalhaq Farooqi to their squad and they already had a very strong core in Alex Hales, Daniel Sams, Chris Green and Gurinder Sandhu. Thunder have a settled squad and they’ll expect their players to perform in BBL 12.

Alex Hales is amongst the best openers in T20 cricket. He bats very aggressively and can take down any bowling attack on his day. He has been a consistent performer for Sydney Thunder in the last few seasons. Get his cards HERE!

Daniel Sams is the best all-rounder for Sydney. He is match-winner with both the bat and the ball. Sams has been very consistent in the past few seasons for the Thunder and will be a key player for his team in BBL 12 Get his cards NOW!

Gurinder Sandhu will be an important player for the Sydney Thunder in BBL 12. He is a wicket-taker and is expected to do well in BBL 12. Get Sandhu’s cards NOW!

Chris Green is a utility player for the men in green. He led the side in BBL 11 and is a crucial player for the Thunder. Green will be their lead spinner and is handy with the bat as well. Get his cards HERE!
